On November 2nd, America Spoke, and Congress got what many are calling a rude awakening. With more than sixty seats changing hands in the Congress, Republicans will now have control of the House of Representatives, and the “Unstoppable” majority in the Senate is suddenly a bit more “Stoppable.” State Governorships and State Legislatures across the country have also changed hands, and Republicans across the country are doing their “Snoopy Dance” celebrations. And, for now, I’m willing to join them.
Today is a milestone for the MaverickVoice, as I post our 100th Article on the Internet. So, since this is a Special Day, I’m going to do something Special. “To HELL with the CONSTITUTION…” Not exactly a Conservative remark, but these words were spoken, and they were spoken by a REPUBLICAN. Specifically, a PROGRESSIVE Republican. Specifically, it was said by the Progressive Republican that has served as the “Hero” (His Words) of John McCain, and, recently, was QUOTED in a speech made by Lt. Col. Allen West, who is campaigning to be the Congressman for District 22 in Florida. (Yeah, I don’t like bringing it up, but I have to.) That Progressive Republican is named Theodore Roosevelt.

I DO NOT CONDONE VIOLENCE! Let me be perfectly clear on this: There is absolutely, positively, without a doubt, undeniably NO PLACE in our society for violence. It is unacceptable for ANYONE to take violent action against ANYONE unless you are literally in the moment of DEFENDING YOUR LIFE! Unless there is a weapon in your face threatening the lives of yourself or your family, then violence in ANY FORM is WRONG! (Have I made myself clear? Do you understand what I’m saying?)
