I’ve noticed a disturbing trend that has been going on in Political Races wherein opponents to a certain point of view are called “Unpatriotic.” Conservatives accuse Liberals of being Unpatriotic all the time. Liberals make the same accusation of Conservatives. Both sides accuse the Progressives, who in turn point the finger at the Liberals and Conservatives. Being Patriotic has NOTHING to do with being a Conservative, or a Liberal, or a Progressive, because being Patriotic means doing and supporting what you feel is best for the COUNTRY!

Back in January, 2010, the voters of Massachusetts voted for Republican Scott Brown to fill the seat vacated by the death of long-time Senator Teddy Kennedy, and Conservatives all did a collective “Snoopy” dance. Here at MaverickVoice.com, Steve Hansen asked the question, “Do you think Congress and the President will stop and think about what this says about their positions as a whole?” Well, today, we got the answer.

“To HELL with the CONSTITUTION…” Not exactly a Conservative remark, but these words were spoken, and they were spoken by a REPUBLICAN. Specifically, a PROGRESSIVE Republican. Specifically, it was said by the Progressive Republican that has served as the “Hero” (His Words) of John McCain, and, recently, was QUOTED in a speech made by Lt. Col. Allen West, who is campaigning to be the Congressman for District 22 in Florida. (Yeah, I don’t like bringing it up, but I have to.) That Progressive Republican is named Theodore Roosevelt.

The telltale mantra of the Robin Hood Franchise is, “Rob from the Rich, and Give to the Poor.” Now, the “Give to the Poor” side of the phrase infers “Charity,” most commonly defined as a gift from one to another in a time of need, and certainly there’s NOTHING wrong with Charity, right? Well, if Robin were giving his OWN money in a charitable manner, I’d shout, “HUZZAH!” Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case, because the FIRST part of the phrase is “Rob from the Rich.” This, my friends, is Socialism 101!

In my previous post, Dollars Making Sense, I talked about how our Previous Leaders felt about Economics by quoting the Presidents pictured on our currency. Today, I’m going to do the same thing by quoting the Presidents pictured on our coins, but the point of this post isn’t the Economy, but the Power of the People!

“Social Justice” is perceived by many as a “Leveling of the Playing Field,” the idea that every person who does a certain thing should achieve the same results, but this is an inherently flawed idea. Over the next few paragraphs, I’ll be explaining exactly why this is the case.
