THE EVIL POOR

How many times have you heard people, specifically the Liberal/Progressive Media and Politicians, refer to the “Evil Rich?” The “Evil Rich” are the “Fat Cats” with money who want to <GASP> make even MORE money by investing their wealth in new industries, expanding existing business investments, or even by saving their money, which, when held [...]

IGNORANT AND ARROGANT

The President spoke at a Press Conference on Wednesday, 6/29/2011. By now, the odds are pretty good that you’ve either heard the speech, heard ABOUT it from whatever source you choose for your news & opinions, or, perhaps, are completely unaware that he spoke or what he spoke about. If you want to read his [...]

FLIPPING THE INVISIBLE BIRD

OK, so I’ll admit that I’ve been thinking A LOT about economics. In fact, it seems to be an ongoing thread with me, especially with my recent posts to help you understand our “Debt and Taxes,” and even going WAAAAAAAY back to September of 2009 with “No More Credit for Congress.” Well, today, I want [...]

THE TRUTH ABOUT LABOR UNIONS

At the signing of our Declaration of Independence, Benjamin Franklin argued, “We must, indeed, all hang together, or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately.” And that historic document ends with a simple phrase: “…we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.” These words clearly define our National position [...]

THE RIGHT KIND OF PUBLIC SPENDING

The people of Japan will feel the effects of this devastating natural disaster for YEARS. The loss of life and property will be unbearable to those affected, and the [...]

THE GREAT CUPCAKE CONTROVERSY

When is a cupcake not just a cupcake? When it’s a controversy. Maybe you’ve heard about this, maybe you haven’t, but, apparently, a Baker in Indianapolis declined an order to make rainbow-colored cupcakes for college students at the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) for “National Coming Out Day” on October 11. Their reason? According to co-owner David Stockton, they’re a “family-run business, we have two young, impressionable daughters, and we thought maybe it was best not to do that.” (Story at On Top Magazine)

THE RECESSION IS OVER

Great News! The RECESSION IS OVER!!! That’s right, folks: it’s over. Break out the champagne, put on your party hat and kick up your heels like Michael Flatly in Lord of the Dance! The LA Times reports that the National Bureau of Economic Research has reached the conclusion that the Recession that started in December of 2007 officially ended in June of 2009, just six months after the Inauguration of President Obama. That’s right: true to his word, Obama has cooled Global Warming, Lowered the Seas, Cleaned the Air and Saved the Economy. Can’t you just feel it? Praise be Obama!

HONEST EXPECTATIONS

The White House has announced that Tuesday, June 15, President Obama will be addressing the Nation regarding the Gulf Oil Spill. My sarcastic response to this announcement is, “Gee, really? Another speech?” But my Honest Reaction is a bit more serious.
