SCREW IT! by

2009 has been a terrible year for the United States. The Promise of “Hope” was dashed by the actions of “Change” that have been abused by our Government. Our President has apologized to the world repeatedly for the Success of our Nation, all the while promising to somehow restore that Success in our failing economy. Our Congress spends as if it can just print the money to pay the debts, which it has done, ensuring the promise of inflation and higher taxes, all in the name of Social Justice.

Corruption has been embraced and encouraged. Those few Democrats who dared to stand, even weakly, against the sham of “Healthcare Reform” were bribed, berated and embarrassed into cooperation. Republicans who opposed it were slandered, accused and, finally, ignored. The People rose in opposition at great personal expense to tell the Government that they rejected their intentions and irresponsible actions, not once, but TWICE! Still, the House ignored their objections, and the Senate defied their wishes.

As the year draws to a close, I am not defeated: I am RESOLVED. I am resolved to be even more outspoken, and more insistent. In “Macbeth,” Shakespeare wrote, “Screw Your Courage to the Sticking Place, and We’ll Not Fail.” And that’s what I mean to do.

In 2010, our Government will intend to further abuse the inequality of its composition to pass more abusive, restrictive and UNCONSTITUTIONAL laws, and I will be arguing against it. I will be pointing out the hypocrisy, and railing against its lies. And those in Congress who are up for re-election will face certain judgment by their constituents. Those who supported the abuse will find themselves unemployed. Likewise, those who failed to fight strongly for the Will of the People will face the same fate.

Don’t become discouraged. Don’t be disheartened. If you agree, I challenge you to shout, “SCREW IT!” Don’t let them continue to destroy our Nation, and don’t allow their continued defiance force another Revolution in our Country!

Be Resolved! “SCREW IT!”

  1. Thomas Jefferson said that a little revolution is good for the country. We may not agree on a lot, but we agree that the established political parties do NOT represent the people. Let’s get them.

Oh, and I just posted your URL on a St. Pete Times story about RedState.com. That flark has nothing on you!
