The Media has always loved a Whistle Blower, that brave soul who sees a wrong and brings it the light of the media to be righted. “Deep Throat” W. Mark Felt brought down the Nixon Administration after revealing to Woodward & Bernstein of the Washington Post the improprieties and voting irregularities involved in that Administration. Dr. Jeffrey Wigand exposed the sordid secrets of the Tobacco Industry, resulting in a media firestorm and lawsuits by injured people that still go on today.

Whistle Blowers are wanted. Listening to the radio, I hear advertisements for employees to report “Pirated Software” being used by their companies for rewards. The entire point of the “Crimestoppers Hotline” used across the country is to provide rewards for tips about violent crimes.

From a young age, most of us are taught that, when something bad happens, we need to report it to the authorities. We need to tell. A friend is being abused? Report it to the teacher, or the cops, or whoever will listen. We’ve raised a society of Whistle Blowers!

But, Whistle Blowers are NOT rewarded for revealing the misdeeds of others, particularly when it relates to Liberals and their pet projects. Ever hear of Linda Tripp? It was because of her recorded conversations with Monica Lewinsky that President Bill Clinton was nearly impeached. She now sells “Mouth Blown” Christmas Ornaments from her store in Virginia. (Ironic, perhaps, but let’s move on…)

How about James O’Keefe and Hannah Giles, the ACORN “Pimp & Prostitute” who produced secret recordings of ACORN Employees’ improprieties? Well, they’re currently facing potential criminal prosecution for violating Maryland and California’s laws regarding recording people without permission.

Whistle Blowers face persecution from the public, from the individuals they accuse, and PROSECUTION under the law, even if the EVIDENCE they provide is reliable. Let me rephrase that: When it comes to the Liberal Agenda, Whistle Blowers face PROSECUTION under the law, ESPECIALLY when the evidence provided is reliable.

This brings me to the “Climate-Gate” scandal, which is currently ongoing. Just in case your head is firmly planted in the sand, e-mails regarding the study of Man-Made Global Climate Change, which were demanded as part of a Freedom of Information request to the University of East Anglia, were disseminated by a “Hacker” to the media. These e-mails had been “destroyed” by the University, and clearly implicate the major players in this “Scientific Study” to be complicit in creating fraudulent results to support a political theory. It just so happens that this “Science” has been used to create wealth for former Vice-President Al Gore, as well as promote “Environmental Legislation” to limit carbon emissions; “Green Energy” research, such as wind & solar power; and has been a major point for the creation of “Cap & Trade” legislation, which has already been shown to damage the economy in Europe.

Now, this Post is NOT about “Man-Made Global Climate Change.” This Post is about the Whistle Blowers. And based upon the ramifications of “Doing the Right Thing” felt by former Whistle Blowers, is it really any surprise that THIS Whistle Blower has decided to be anonymous?

Fact: At no point since the release of these e-mails has there been a claim that ANY of the e-mails have been modified, “doctored” or fraudulent.

Fact: At no point since the release of these e-mails has there been any significant coverage by the “Mainstream Media” regarding the content of these e-mails.

Fact: At no point since the release of these e-mails has there been any significant investigation into the potential impropriety of the Authors of these e-mails.

Why? Because the content of these e-mails is “An Inconvenient Truth” to those who support the concept of “Man-Made Global Climate Change.” If the FACTS relating to these e-mails were to be discussed, the arguments being used to fundamentally transform the economies of the developed world would be clearly false, and they’d lose. Instead, the whitewash has begun. Don’t look at the e-mails, but attack the Whistle Blower.

Let me be clear about something: I personally believe that the long term “Man-Made Global Climate Change” theory is a bunch of crap. Since the “Scientists” responsible for these predictions can’t accurately tell me what the temperature is going to be in three days, I doubt their ability to predict it 50 years into the future. Since the “Science” being used doesn’t factor into account the effect of the SUN, I sincerely doubt their understanding of HEAT. Since the argument is based upon a “Consensus of Opinion,” which was reached through some of the most underhanded manipulation of data since the Vatican burned Galileo as a heretic, I doubt the motivations of those making the argument.  But this does not mean that I am opposed to finding cleaner and more efficient forms of fuel. This does not mean that I want dirty air or water, but I also don’t need $4/gallon gas or threats of global annihilation to motivate that change. Develop the technology, make it reliable, make it affordable, and the WORLD will make the switch on their own. But “Fear Mongering” should not be used to motivate the switch, though that’s EXACTLY what’s happening.

My point in all of this remains the same as the points I’ve made in previous posts: look at the facts and reach a LOGICAL CONCLUSION. Don’t “Shoot the Messenger:” Read the Message!
