There’s a 46 year old man who is trusted by a 13 year old girl. He gives her drugs and alcohol, takes nude pictures of her, and then has sex with her, even though she says no. He confesses to the crime. Would you let him walk? Would you say, “Well, it’s really not that bad, so you should just go ahead and skip jail?” Would you give him an Oscar?

So, what’s the key to fixing the economy? How do we move forward and get people back to work? Here’s my answer: GO TO WORK. Even if it isn’t going to be rewarding today, it may be tomorrow. Don’t hold out for the job you want: do the job you can get, and build from there. Don’t just sit on your ass: do something productive with your time.

The time has come to make a change. Here’s my proposal. I call it the “Bill of Responsibilities.” While I am a conservative, I don’t think that this proposal requires a liberal or conservative slant to be considered appropriate. Read it with an open mind. Feel free to disagree, but I ask you to first put yourself in both sides of the equation. I’m pretty sure you’ll find it to be fair. (And, though I have tried to keep this rant brief, I know for certain that I will fail.)

I find myself more than just a little angry today, and my anger is directed squarely at the President of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama. I’m angry because this President has made a conscious choice to selectively address his proposals for Healthcare Reform to those outlets that have, in the past, been essentially supportive of these plans, while intentionally avoiding those outlets that have been critical.
